The Darwin T. Turner Award is given in recognition of the year's best essay on 20th- and 21st-century literature. Congratulations to this year's recipient

Richard Schur

for his article "Post-Soul Aesthetics in Contemporary African American Art," which appeared in the Winter 2007 issue.
Dr. Schur is Associate Professor of Interdisciplinary Studies at Drury University.
